    Rare find!
    Antique German 3-footed chocolate box or bonboniere
    Marked Sorau (really faded) Carstens Porzellan Handarbreit (means handmade) with the green mark for porcelain made between 1925-1939
    Made in Sorau, Germany (right now Zary, Poland)
    White porcelain with gold painted leaves and stems and mesh designs on the sides
    Pattern has been referred to as “Luise 11” although I cannot confirm
    Lid and bowl both marked 70 on the bottom
    Approximately 7”diameter x 7” tall (with lid) x 3 1/2” deep
    Weighs 26 ounces
    really good preowned condition—no chips, cracks, or repairs—there is general wearing of the gold paint on both lid and bowl
    Truly a gorgeous and quite rare antique piece in remarkable condition for its age
