One of the oldest TUCO puzzles in a red box. As seen in the pictures sadly missing two pieces and the bottom of the box is in fair condition. Still fun to work such an unusual puzzle. Could make two pieces or be used to complete another incomplete one.TUCO puzzles started in 1932 in Lockport, NY. They used stronger dies which allowed them to cut thicker cardboard (called upsom board) but only in a crooked line strip pattern. This gave their puzzles a special feel of solidity, much like wood, and a distinct competitve advantage. Later, the company thinned the cardboard and cut knobs becoming just like the other makers of diecut cardboard puzzles. Perfect for everyday use. first-class materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
