A distinctive photography study where Biddle photographs and interviews residents of the infamous recent York City neighborhood, Alphabet City. He first captured the lives of several Puerto Ricans who lived in this ghetto in 1977, and repeated his process ten years later and interviewed his subjects. A stunning view on inner city life in this infamous neighborhood.

Text block and both covers faintly wavy, likely due to improper storage.
