Olive Wood Chess Set Purchased in Greece
This is a chess set that I purchased in an olive wood browse in Katakolon, Greece this past summer. These are handmade (so there are definitely imperfections) and no two chess sets are alike. It’s about 18” x 18” at the longest parts. It has all the pieces. I paid $80 for this particular set. I think it should have a nice coat of shellac or whatever wouldn’t damage the olive wood, but just my opinion.
