The “split wingtip” configuration of this scarf is not incredibly common, and it does wear very well, offering several different ways of tying this scarf. The square scarf has a diagonal slit about ¾ through the material, making for a fuller gathered body when the scarf is tied. The scarf has a great graphic print featuring a black and white geometric pattern.The scarf measures roughly 16 ½” sq. The tag states that this scarf is 100% polyester and was made in Japan. My guess would be that it was made in the 1970s or so. The scarf is in good vintage condition.
