This one-of-a-kind basket looks like it was originally made to be used as a purse. It has a hinge and is cloth lined and belonged to my superb-aunt who purchased it while traveling in the US in the 1960s.Approx. 6” high, nearly 6.5” wide and 4” deep, the handmade wooden basket has what appear to be old magazine or newspaper clippings throughout the top and sides. A very Americana look with images from a little boy and girl, American flag and toy images.In magnificent condition given age.

This one-of-a-kind basket looks like it was originally made to be used as a purse. It has a hinge and is cloth lined and belonged to my exceptional-aunt who purchased it while traveling in the US in the 1960s.

Approx. 6” high, nearly 6.5” wide and 4” deep, the handmade wooden basket has what appear to be old magazine or newspaper clippings throughout the top and sides. A truly Americana look with images from a little boy and girl, American flag and toy images.

In exceptional condition given age.
