Antique Neapolitan bowl back Style Mandolin Used

Antique (or vintage) bowl back mandolin. 8 string. Homemade “pick”. I have been trying to date/identify this one-of-a-kind piece for months to no avail. There is a faded partial sticker inside I can’t make out (see photo). Also an embossed number on the end of neck. Handwritten inside is “repaired by…..March 1973”, not sure what that entailed other than what’s obvious but if it needed repair in 1973, I believe it’s significantly older. All strings present, tuners turn, sounds good (although I can’t play), neck is straight, shows obvious signs of age, use and previous fixes. About 24” long, bowl 7” wide and 6” at deepest point.
