Miniature Replica of Samurai Katana of Maeda Toshiie from Japan
This miniature version of this samurai katana (sword) is a replica of the one used by Maeda Toshiie, a very prominent samurai during the mid-1800s in Japan. The katana's blade is die cast and comes with it's saya (scabbard), display stand, banner with the family crest and small plaque that reads Maeda Toshiie. The katana and saya are individually distinct for each samurai and these miniatures are very popular in Japan. Was acquired in Tokyo in 2004 and is in very good condition. Great item for a lover of Japan culture and samurai. Katana measures 6 long, 1/6 scale.
