Kim Taylor Reece Hawaiian Hula Photograph Framed Signed Fine Art Photographer
Beautiful framed photo print that depicts early hula dancing. This photographer is renowned and he aims to keep the culture of the hulu alive. The outer dimensions of the frame are 7.5 x 9.5. I have not taken it out of the frame, so not sure of the exact size of the print. The signature is reproduced on the print, not an original signature. There is a small chip on the backside of the frame, but it is not visible from the front.Kim has been working with hula dancers for over 40 years now. He was part of a renaissance that started in the late 1970s in the Hawaiian culture and the practice of hula. Hawaiian Halaus (hula schools) started practicing an ancient style of dance known as Hula Kahiko. This style was used to pass down the history of the Hawaiian people from one generation to the next.
